Niobium Wire is made up of niobium. These are made up of commercially pure niobium grades. There are two types of niobium grades. The grade 1 has less than 0.1% impurities in it and is called the reactor grade. The type 2 is called the commercial grade and has less than 0.2% of impurities. The material has 125MPa minimum tensile strength and 73MPa minimum yield strength. The applications are of high end.
